As this year comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support of our homeowners. It is our privilege to be your builder of choice and to welcome so many families into their new homes every year. As we look toward the new year with excitement and anticipation, we also wanted to reflect on a few of our highlights from 2023.
OUR NEW OFFICE
As Cachet continues to grow, it was time for us to move into a larger office space. One of our highlights this year was moving into our new corporate home. Designed in partnership with renowned firm Figure3, our new office features sleek lines and a modern palette, state-of-the-art technology and ample open spaces to encourage collaboration and celebrate the character of our brand.
OUR NEW COMMUNITIES
In 2023, Cachet unveiled two new master-planned communities across Southern Ontario: Cachet Binbrook in Binbrook, and Avon Park by Cachet in Stratford. This year also saw new releases in one of our most sought-after communities: Westwood Village in Cambridge.
Westwood Village
We released a collection of 3-storey towns with 2-car garages, as well as traditional 2-storey towns and detached homes on 30′ and 36′ lots. The homes at Westwood Village are open and contemporary, with large windows to allow for plenty of natural light.
Cachet Binbrook
Our first new community launched this year, Cachet Binbrook features homes with flexible floor plans optimized for ease and functionality and new Modern Canadian architecture, and was met with a successful release. The distinct exteriors feature a variety of traditional and contemporary design elements, including rustic stone cladding and large picture windows, with organic materials and urban nuances that embody the character and nature of the local landscape. Cachet Binbrook is also our most sustainability-forward community yet, with upgraded smart home offerings that include saving money on energy bills, improved air and water quality, and carbon footprint reduction.
Avon Park by Cachet
The second of our new master-planned communities launched this year, Avon Park is Cachet’s first community in Stratford, a city known for its storybook loveliness. This community launch was a huge success, with our first release of homes now sold out. At Avon Park by Cachet, Victorian-inspired home designs modernize the beloved architectural style while paying tribute to the Stratford landscape. The exteriors seamlessly balance a mixture of contemporary and traditional design elements, as well as a variety of colours, finishes, and materials, while the interiors have been meticulously designed to cater to the needs of modern living.
WELCOMING FAMILES HOME
2023 was a record-breaking year for Cachet; our team welcomed almost 650 families home into our communities over the past 12 months. Building visionary communities that families will be proud to call home is a mission we take seriously, and it is our honour to be your builder of choice.
OUR NEW HOME CENTRES
As Cachet continues to grow, 2023 was the perfect opportunity for us to turn our attention toward improving our Presentation Centres. This year, we transformed our existing Presentation Centres in Hamilton and Cambridge into Cachet New Home Centres to improve the experience for our prospective and existing homeowners. Each space was renovated to combine our sales centres and design studios into centralized locations. “We needed to adapt to the scale of the communities we are building, which in turn meant we needed to expand our sales and studio workspaces and design offerings,” says Kimberly Bianchi, Cachet’s Director of Design Studio.
At our Hamilton New Home Centre, we worked with designer Crystal Collinson to conceptualize a clean, modern interior that would allow our Sales Team to welcome homebuyers seeking to purchase at many different communities simultaneously and allow our Design Studio Team to ensure Cachet’s finishes are presented in a way that would inspire purchasers to design the home of their dreams.
In Cambridge, our New Home Centre was renovated to allow for an improved sales and design studio experience. The Sales space was refreshed to make purchasing a home more pleasant with a new cafe, interactive podiums, and modern design elements. New appointment rooms were carved out for the Design Studio, as well. To ensure that design appointments are as seamless as possible, finishing samples were styled in each appointment room, design packages colour-coded, and monitors installed so homeowner’s design selections are easily viewed on screen.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2024
In 2024, we’re excited to hand over more keys to our Cachet homeowners and to launch several new master-planned communities in new locations across Southern Ontario, including Heartwood in Woodstock.
